Released on March 22, 2024 and April 26, 2024, Crimson Haze and Mask of Change are the fifth Japanese subset and sixth Japanese main expansion set, respectively, from the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet era. They are the combined Japanese counterpart to the English expansion set, Twilight Masquerade.
With the pack art featuring Bloodmoon Ursaluna, Crimson Haze focuses mainly on Pokémon and trainers found in the land of Kitakami. If you played the Scarlet or Violet mainline Pokémon games, you may spot some familiar faces from the first DLC, The Teal Mask.
Like Crimson Haze, Mask of Change also revolves around Pokémon and trainers found in the land of Kitakami. However this time, the star of the show is the Teal Mask Pokémon herself, Ogerpon, with four separate Special Art Rares featuring each of her four masks! There are also several card illustrations depicting Pokémon helping set up for the Festival of Masks, a playful shout out to the Teal Mask DLC’s story and Kitakami lore. 🎭
