The main theme of Prismatic Evolutions is Eeveelutions, which has collectors proclaiming the set to be the next Evolving Skies! With a new "Sunbreon" SIR, colorfully illustrated Special Illustration Rares featuring each of the other Eeveelutions, and reportedly rough pull rates, this set very well may be.
Prismatic Evolution is the first English set to showcase the Poké Ball and Master Ball reverse holo patterns introduced in Japanese Pokémon 151, in additional to the "regular" reverse holo pattern, for a total of 3 types of reverse holos to collect. It is also the second English set after English Pokémon 151 to feature God/Demigod Packs (rare booster packs containing multiple hits).
