TRADE-IN HOURS: Sunday-Friday 11am-5pm

Please understand that WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO NOT BUY YOUR CARDS/PRODUCT for a variety of reasons, such as product condition, having an overabundance of that particular product, market conditions, etc.

Do I need an appointment?

  • 12 items or less to trade-in? Walk-ins welcome!
  • More than 12 items to trade-in? An appointment is requirement. Email trades@thepokecourt.com to make one. 
  • Not local to NYC? Email your list of cards and/or product to trades@thepokecourt.com.

* Please include a subject line with your email (ex: Trade-in appointment). Subject-less emails often end up getting sent to Spam.

* Please be aware that we have a limited cash reserve available each day for trades. If we run out, we'll issue a gift card for the full value, which can be redeemed for cash at a later date. If receiving cash at the time of your trade is important, please email trades@thepokecourt.com before visiting.

* We don't buy cards or sealed product from new sets until a month after the release date.

* We are not currently buying Pokémon Center ETBs or graded cards.

Please note:

  • We're only interested in English and Japanese products at this time, with some exceptions made for exclusive Chinese cards.
  • For PSA trade-ins over $1,000 in value, we require a photocopy of your ID.
  • "Vintage" = Black & White or older.
  • TCG market price is based on TCGPlayer. Trade-in prices are based on market price unless otherwise stated.

 

APPRAISALS:

Appraisal Fee: $6 per every 10 minutes. We'll waive this fee if a deal is made in at the end of the service.

During the appraisal service we'll evaluate your cards and collections for potential value. We're also happy to walk you through our reasoning for a particular evaluation, make recommendations on what cards you might want to get graded, and answer any general questions you may have.

 

NOT ACCEPTED PRODUCTS

We are currently not accepting:
  • Pokémon Center ETBs
  • Modern or vintage bulk
  • Graded cards
  • Product in languages other than English or Japanese (exceptions made for exclusive Chinese cards)
  • Pokémon merchandise that isn't TCG
  • Non-Pokémon TCG
