Releasing in the US on January 17, 2025, Prismatic Evolutions is the fourth special expansion set from the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet series. It is the English counterpart of the upcoming Japanese High Class Pack set, Terastal Festival.
The main theme of Prismatic Evolutions is Eeveelutions, which has hopeful collectors proclaiming the set to be the next Evolving Skies! We’ll just have to see how the masses feel about Eeveelutions in hats, as this set is introducing the Stellar Terastal forms of Eevee and the ‘lutions. A new Moonbreon has already been revealed as one of the set's 32 Special Illustration Rares (TPCI really putting the “special” in special expansion set!), but we'll have to see if ends up seeing the same success as Evolving Skies'.
Prismatic Evolution will also be the first English set to showcase the Poké Ball and Master Ball reverse holo patterns introduced in Japanese Pokémon 151. While unconfirmed for Prismatic Evolutions, English sets aren’t known to have any card pull guarantees like Japanese sets do, so this Master Ball set may be a bit harder to complete.
