The Top 12 Cards From Glory Of Team Rocket

Released on April 18, 2025, Glory of Team Rocket is the tenth main Japanese expansion set from the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet era. Combined with Heat Wave Arena, it is the Japanese counterpart of the upcoming English set, Destined Rivals (releasing in May 2025).

Team Rocket themed sets have historically featured one of two different concepts (or both), “Rocket’s Pokémon” and “Dark Pokémon”. In keeping with Battle Partners and Heat Wave Arena, Glory Of Team Rocket features the former aka Trainer’s Pokémon cards. There are no Dark Pokémon cards in this set.

There is one slight difference between Glory Of Team Rocket and the two prior Trainer's Pokémon sets. All Trainer’s Pokémon cards in Glory Of Team Rocket have the same naming convention -- “Team Rocket’s [Pokémon]” and feature the Team Rocket “R” symbol. However different Team Rocket trainers (from Giovanni to Rocket Grunts) are showcased in the trainer avatar on the card depending on the Pokémon.

A note: Not all cards in the set are Trainers Pokémon cards.

Curious as to which cards are the most valuable from Glory Of Team Rocket? Here are the Top 12. (compiled from various sources such as TCGPlayer, Collectr, Pricecharting, etc.)

Pokémon Ranger Kat's Bonus Pick: I know it’s not a Team Rocket card, but the Kangaskhan Art Rare gives me such nostalgia anime vibes. You know the scene, the one where the two characters are waiting for the bus together out on a mostly empty country road in the evening. There are cicadas buzzing and the occasional car headlights passing by. The kind of scene that's made into lofi playlists backgrounds. 😆 Also vibes aside, baby Kangashkan interacting with Quagsire is just too cute!

Bonus bonus "playlist screenshot"! Pokévibes~ 🎶
